Your Coaching Test-Drive Opportunity
What if you could explore the potentially life-changing opportunity to work with a Coach- experience a real coaching session- before you made the decision to invest in the full-blown 6- or 12- month partnership?
In essence, what if you could test drive the car before buying it?
Working with the right Coach, an authentic Coach, can be a life-changing experience.
And it's an investment that just about every top athlete as well as the most successful business people, actors, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and anyone who is serious about creating quantum leaps in their lives, make.
And often make repeatedly.
Have you ever asked yourself why that is?
The obvious answer is that working with a Coach can dramatically improve results.
"Those who are the best in the world have something in common- they work with a Coach!" ~Tony Robbins
The InstituteofCoaching.org states, "The benefits of coaching are many; 80% of people who receive coaching report increased self-confidence, and over 70% benefit from improved work performance, relationships, and more effective communication skills."
Let me share a short, true story that illustrates the power of the coaching process to almost immediately improve performance.
Tim Gallwey, former tennis pro/instructor, and author of the international best-selling book, The Inner Game of Tennis, tells the story of the coaching breakthrough he had while observing one of his students.
Gallwey talks about being somewhat bored during the lesson, as he watched this player continue to hit the ball too high over the net, repeatedly. Then at some point, he became curious, and rather than tell the student, "you're hitting the ball wrong!,", instead, he asked questions, such as, "what do you notice about how you just hit that tennis ball?", and, "what do you think you could do differently next time to get the shot you want?"
Seems like fairly basic questions, right? Well, here's the point. By asking the player those questions, and others, the player was required to go inward- to think about what he was doing throughout each step of his swing. This internal review process created an awareness within the student as to what he was doing ineffectively, and what the could possibly change.
Gallwey was surprised to see a fairly immediate, and sustained improvement in the student's swing, and thus, his game overall. He then tested this epiphany around the power of asking questions with his other students, only to find similar success.
In its simplest form, that is the power of the coaching process! To quote Tim Robbins once again,
"The quality of your life is a direct reflection of the quality of the questions you are asking yourself." ~Tony Robbins
And I'd add...and the quality of the questions you are asked by others, particularly a Coach!
So why is the coaching process so powerful? As illustrated in the Gallwey story, coaching requires the participant to go within for the answers, because that's where the answers are found!
An authentic Coach will never tell you what to do!
The fundamental premise of coaching is that the answers are ALWAYS within the Client...
...they're just not aware of those answers.
YET.
The answers you seek are within you as well! What you lack isn't a solution, you lack the awareness that you are fully resourced with everything you need to be successful in your life.
Coaching makes the unconscious conscious! It awakens the awareness within the Client to their limitless potential, and it's one of the most transformational relationships you will ever experience!
And I'm offering you the opportunity to experience a single coaching session for yourself- to take a test drive, so to speak, prior to making a decision to invest in the coaching partnership process.
So, if you've ever been seriously curious about whether or not coaching may be right for you, and you have questions about what it is and how it works, then I encourage you to explore this opportunity.
It just might change your life.
